Ahh, the American teenager. They love to shop! However, sometimes they don't pay much attention to their purchases. Case-in-point, my wonderful son was holiday shopping in Katy, Texas at the fabulous Katy Mills Mall. Now as mom's, we tend to give all of ourselves with little expectation in return during the holidays. However, this particular holiday is one I won't soon forget. As one of my stocking stuffers this year, I was blessed with a planner from my son. My family knows it is tradition that I buy myself a planner every year. It is how I keep up with my madness. Don't judge me...join me! I normally carefully shop for one each year. I was pleasantly surprised that my son thought enough of me to search out a new one for me. What is so hysterical is...he didn't flip through it! He didn't even read the cover. His explanation was that he saw 2022, flowers and it was mostly pink and blue on the cover so he tossed it in his cart. 

I even made a funny TikTok because it was just so perfectly funny! 


My son was mortified that he had gifted me so many 'f-bombs' but I think it is epic!

Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard Trial of the Year!

Okay. Like many of you, I have been enthralled with this trial foolishness. It is like a train wreck you simply cannot stop watching. I am a child of the eighties. Thus, the image of Johnny Depp is firmly implanted in most of our hearts. Listing to Amber Heard's testimony and the lies that were caught on the stand was amazing. To see his character and career destroyed so selfishly enraged many. In my opinion, it has been proven on the stand that her testimony was about as truthful as a snake's and the arrogance that she portrayed to the Jury, the courtroom, and the camera was intolerable. It was proven during Heard's testimony that the did not donate the seven million to charity as she so stated numerous times but that she held on to the money. Lastly, her stubbornness and failing to admit it was pitiable.  Amber, none of us use the terms 'donate' and 'pledge' synonymously. (Insert eye-roll here).  Like many, I await the verdict tomorrow and hope Johnny come...
